The Detachin™ solution is suitable for detaching adherent cells from in vitro growth vesicles. This reagent provides quick and gentle detachment and dissociation of a wide variety of adherent cells, including primary cells, grown in all known tissue culture plastic ware.

Adherent cell lines are important research and production tools in many life science laboratories, and cell detachment and dissociation reagents are important tools for the manipulation and preservation of cell lines.
Detachin™ is a novel cell detachment and dissociation solution that provides consistent, safe, and efficient results; it has been tested successfully on many different cells and cell types like bone marrow stem, fibroblasts, hepatocytes, mouse germ, keratinocytes, macrophages, chick embryo neuronal, vascular endothelial, A-375, BHK, CHO, COS , D54, HEK 293, HeLa, L-929, M-24, MG-63, MRC-5, NIH-3T3, NT-2 cells, U-251, Vero, Sf9 insect cells, and many others.

Detachin solution contains protease, and collagenase activities in an isotonic, phosphate buffer solution with EDTA.
